Snarl!!!!
I am more than slightly irritated. I participate in an online knitting/crochet community, and had found political refuge with a group there.... Well the powers that be have decided that to ease their lives, they're closing that group. They are blaming us for trolls and other of such unsavory character sending to much work their way. The group on the whole, apparently did nothing wrong, except exist.... I'm not happy....

New Years Eve Pizza Party
So, tomorrow is a new year, and Noah's birthday. I decided to try making homemade pizza for the party, 1. because Noah loves pizza, and 2. because I love pizza, and 3. because pizza is now expensive. Really easy, I took my normal bread recipe, guessed that it would make 2 pizzas, and doubled it to have 4. Ok, each bread recipe made 3 pizzas, so we had 6. We'll be eating leftovers for a while, but it worked really well!!!
I have perforated pizza pans I bought at Walmart, rolled out the dough, stretched them on the pan and pre-baked them at 350 for 8 min.

Then top them, using the pizza peel, and slip them right on the oven rack (I don't own a pizza stone...) for 13 min at 400. Bingo!! yummy pizza for what I figure is $2 a pizza. Not bad, and very yummy!

The kids were excited to have all the pizza they could eat. Lets see how they feel about it after we have pizza tomorrow too, for breakfast and lunch... LOL

Cool Rise Cinnamon Rolls
One of my favorite holiday memories is having cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Alas, on Feingold, the Pilsbury dough boy and I have parted ways... But, my darling friend Marye at Baking Delights posted a recipie for cool rise maple pecan rolls. So, presto bango, I change it up a little and POOF! My cool rise cinnamon rolls! I would have taken more pictures, but they disappeared too fast...
